How can I purchase a prescription medication?
  • You would need a prescription from your vet in order to purchase prescription medication. Most veterinarians are more than happy to provide a written prescription when asked. However, they may charge a small fee for doing so.
  • Once you have obtained your prescription, you will need to post or drop the original prescription to our mail address below:

  • We can also include a reply paid envelope for your convenience when you order from us. Please note that a $20 fee will be charged if we do not receive your prescription within 3 weeks.

Can I purchase without a prescription?
  • By law in Australia, we must have the original prescription in order for us to dispense prescription medications.
  • You can request your veterinarian to email your script directly to us so we can verify the prescription and fast track your order.
 
How long does the prescription lasts for?
  • Most prescriptions are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. All prescriptions will specify the expiry date or maximum amount of medication can be purchased using it.
 
Can I get my medications compounded?
  • We are able to arrange for compounded medications according to your prescription. Just have your vet email us the prescription and our team member will be in touch with you.

 

  What if I can’t find the medication on your website?
  • You can contact us at petfurmacy@gmail.com to request for a quotation of medication that are not displayed on our website. Certain medications can be compounded into specific formulation and flavour to help with palatability.

 

  Do you keep my prescription repeats on file for my next order?
  • Once you have sent us the original prescription, you will be able to purchase the product until your prescription ran out. Don’t worry! We will send you a reminder when you will need a new prescription.

 

  Can I change my order?
  • Yes, but please be quick. Email us via petfurmacy@gmail.com now! As we try to get orders on their way to you as soon as possible, there is a very limited window or opportunity before we hand it to the postman! The same applies if you need to cancel an order, as it makes life easier for everyone if we can avoid the returns process. So if you need to cancel, act immediately - we won’t mind!

 

  What if I want to request for a return or refund?
  • Over the counter (OTC) medications
    • Change of mind? Don’t worry! You have 14 days to refund your order after receiving your purchase, provided it’s unopened and unused and in its original packaging. Unfortunately, the shipping cost of return will remain at your charge. We’ll refund the cost of your order in full amount (excluding postage) within 14 working days.
  • Prescription medication
    • We take your pet’s health very seriously and so, we are unable to accept returns of prescription medications to guarantee the integrity of the medications. 
  Can I speak to a veterinarian?
  • You can enquire by sending us an email if you have any questions about your order or prescription medication. Unfortunately, we do not provide second opinion or referrals.
