Trametes versicolor (Turkey tail mushroom)
|
Turkey tail mushroom is rich in beta-glucans and other polysaccharides that help support immune health.
Some studies and clinical use (especially in dogs with hemangiosarcoma) suggest turkey tail might support cancer treatment by enhancing immune response and possibly extending survival times, although it doesn’t cure cancer.
Dosage:
Important: There’s no single official veterinary guideline — and dosing depends on your dog’s size, the product form (extract, powder, capsule), and health goals. Always check with your vet first.

-
Many product instructions use a form like ¼ teaspoon per 10 kg body weight up to twice daily for powdered forms.
