Wagg & Purr Selamectin is a topical antiparasitic solution formulated to treat mites and lice in small animals, including rabbits and guinea pigs. Each 0.25 mL applicator contains 15 mg of selamectin at a concentration of 60 mg/mL.

Dosage Calculation:
The recommended dosage for treating mites and lice in rabbits and guinea pigs is 15 mg of selamectin per kilogram (kg) of body weight.
To calculate the appropriate volume to administer:
- Divide the desired dosage (10 mg/kg) by the solution's concentration (60 mg/mL):
- 15 mg/kg ÷ 60 mg/mL = 0.25mL/kg
- Multiply this volume by your pet's weight in kilograms to determine the exact amount to apply.
Application:
- Part the fur between the shoulder blades to expose the skin.
- Apply the calculated volume directly onto the skin, ensuring the solution is absorbed.
- Avoid contact with your pet's eyes, mouth, and other sensitive areas.
Frequency:
- Administer a single dose as calculated.
- In cases of severe infestation, a second dose may be applied after 30 days.
- Consult your veterinarian for guidance on retreatment intervals.
